This futuristic Japanese pharmaceutical company specialises in cutting-edge treatments like psychoactive substances and simulated reality. 'Shinsei Sea' integrates both Japanese and Romaji, and loosely translates to 'Sacred Sea', a concept of rebirth, a new life.
Logo
I reproduced logos from IBM, Ford, ABC, Minolta, Frontier Airlines, Auping, and Cummings. I drafted multiple variations which helped me establish my style. A combination of these concepts led me to construct the final logo.
Final Logo
This logo incorporates both the 'S's from Shinsei Sea, which ripple like water around the circle, symbolic of the Earth and medicines in pill form, in contrast to the square, a piece of blotter paper used for LSD. A fusion of contemporary and cutting-edge treatments.
Posters
Cyberpunk and vaporwave aesthetics heavily inspired the design style and colour palette, such as pastel blue and pink. The theme 'Neo Tokyo', a futuristic Japanese metropolis. Influences from Japanese culture, and Anime such as Akira, and Ghost In The Shell also helped establish the foundation for my visual content.
The majority of the visual content I made was posters, each exploring a different treatment. I took inspiration from Alexander Rodchenko, Wim Crouwel, and Akira. I created geometric elements in Adobe Illustrator which formed the foundation of my imagery.
Business Cards
I used the Shinsei Sea logo as the foundation for these designs, this created a consistent visual style. I also experimented with image tracing to add contrast to the geometrical graphics. These designs consisted of one of two colour palette combinations, white with either pastel blue and pink, or red and black.
Packaging
I designed packaging for several products such as, Medicated Relief: Cannabis Oil, and Sinai Scorcher: LSD. I designed the packaging in Adobe Illustrator and the digital mock-ups in Adobe Photoshop.

Website
I also created a website design in Adobe Illustrator and a digital mock-up in Adobe Photoshop. This project allowed me to dive into Illustrator and learn the software, as well as expand my skillset in Photoshop.
